¡Me alegra mucho saber de quien llamo a pedro a caminar sobre las aguas fue nuestro Señor Jesucristo! Quiero compartir un poco sobre este tema y del llamamiento que Dios ha hecho a mi vida.
Casi siempre cuando Dios nos llama a servirle y caminar con el, siempre nos encontramos en nuestros mejores momentos exitosos de nuestra vida cotidiana, donde gozamos de una buena seguridad y estabilidad económica, física y muchas veces emocional, me refiero a un buen trabajo, una buena casa, un buen auto, una buena familia, esposa, esposo, hijos y amigos, etc. nos sentimos muy confiado y agradecidos con Dios por todo eso que el nos ha dado.
Y esto era lo que representaba para los discípulos al estar dentro de esa barca, que los llevaba de un lado al otro. Jesús le invita a Pedro a venir a el. Podemos imaginarnos por un momento la condición de Pedro diciéndole al señor, "No es posible esto, Maestro. Aquí estoy muy bien y seguro." Se que Pedro sintió mucho temor al salir de su barca cuando escucho la voz de Jesús. Pero siempre estuvo seguro de quien lo había llamado. El sabia que si se hundía en el agua, el que lo llamo iba hacer fiel para extender su mano y sacarlo de la dificultad.
Durante todos estos anos que he estado fuera de mi país (fuera de mi barca), aunque he pasado por momentos muy difíciles de temor y angustia, nunca he dudado de la voz que me llamo.
Cuando escuchas su voz, no dudes en hacer lo que El te pide. El que te llama, es fiel.

WHO HAS CALLED US?
Matthew 12:22-34
It makes me really happy to know that the person that called Peter to walk on water was our Lord Jesus Christ! I want to share a little with you about this topic and the calling God has for my life.
God almost always calls us to serve Him and walk with Him, when we find ourselves in the most successful moments of our life-secure, financially stable, physically well, and many times emotionally stable. I'm referring to a pleasing job, a nice house, a good vehicle, a happy family, etc. We feel confident and are grateful for everything that God has given us.
This is what the boat symbolized for the disciples. Jesus invited Peter to come to Him. Imagine Peter's situation for a moment, saying to the Lord, "It's not possible, Lord. Here I am safe and secure, doing well." I know that Peter was really scared to get out of the boat when he heard Jesus' voice. But he was always sure of who had called him. He knew that if he began to sink in the water, the person who called him would be faithful to extend his hand and rescue him.
During these years that I have been out of my country (out of my boat), even though I have gone through difficult times of fear and distress, I have felt sure of the voice that called me.
When you hear His voice, don't doubt what He calls you to do. The one that calls you, is faithful.
